​学院喜讯 |外语与国际教育学院全英文专业国际学生团队在西伯利亚雪雕节荣获特别奖项

近日,在俄罗斯新西伯利亚举行的西伯利亚雪雕节上,来自上海建桥学院外语与国际教育学院视觉传达系全英文专业的俄罗斯籍学生 Sofiya,带领来自海洋大学及 BTU Academy 的同学组成国际创作团队,在这一汇聚全球创意与技艺的冬季艺术盛事中荣获 特别奖项,为我院国际化教育成果再添精彩篇章。

西伯利亚雪雕节是俄罗斯西伯利亚地区极具影响力的冬季艺术盛会,有着二十多年的历史,吸引了来自不同国家和地区的艺术家及青年创作者参与。比赛以冰雪为媒介,将艺术表达、文化内涵与空间造型融为一体,体现地域特色与创意张力。

在本次比赛中,Sofiya 同学作为队,统筹整体创意方案与现场协作,与来自不同高校、不同文化背景的队员密切配合,凭借独特的设计构想、精准的造型表达与细腻的结构细节赢得评委高度评价,最终摘得特别奖项。这不仅是对他们雪雕艺术创造力的肯定,也彰显了视觉传达设计专业学生的综合设计素养与跨文化协作能力。

作为视觉传达设计全英文教学专业的学生,Sofiya 同学自加入我系以来,在课程学习、项目实践、团队协作等方面表现出色。她将自身的艺术素养,通过视觉表达、空间构成、形态思维与材料理解等设计基础,有机融合到雪雕艺术实践中,并与来自不同文化背景的团队成员沟通与协作,使团队在赛场上始终保持高效推进与创意发掘。

学院相关负责人表示,这一成果不仅是学生个人的荣誉,更是系部全英文教育模式与国际化人才培养体系的成功实践案例。通过国际化课程与项目的设计实践机会,学生能够在真实的国际舞台上锻炼专业技能并拓展全球视野,真正做到以设计艺术连接世界。

西伯利亚雪雕节不仅是艺术创作的竞技场,更是文化交流的平台。在这片冰雪之地,不同国家的创作者用共同的语言——艺术与创意——架起理解与沟通的桥梁。Sofiya 和团队的表现,不仅体现了个人与团队的创造力与毅力,也充分体现了跨国文化交融的美好成果。

Recently, at the Siberian Snow Sculpture Festival held in Novosibirsk, Russia, Sofiya, a Russian student from the English-taught Visual Communication Design Program of the College of Foreign Languages and International Education at Shanghai Jian Qiao University, led an international team composed of students from Ocean University and BTU Academy. With an outstanding creative concept and strong teamwork, the team stood out among numerous entries and was awarded the Special Prize, demonstrating the global vision and professional strength of students from our English-taught programs.

The Siberian Snow Sculpture Festival is one of the most influential winter art events in the Siberian region, bringing together artists and young creators from different countries and regions. Using snow as a medium, the competition integrates artistic expression, cultural meaning, and spatial form, serving as an important international platform to showcase comprehensive design ability and collaborative spirit.

In this competition, Sofiya served as the team leader, coordinating the overall creative concept and on-site collaboration. Working closely with teammates from diverse academic and cultural backgrounds, she integrated form composition, spatial awareness, and narrative expression from visual communication design into the snow sculpture creation. The work impressed the jury with its clear theme, solid structure, and vivid details, earning the Special Prize.

College representatives noted that this achievement reflects not only the student’s personal dedication but also the results of the university’s long-term commitment to English-medium instruction and international talent cultivation.

In the world of ice and snow, art knows no borders. This festival not only witnessed the birth of an outstanding artwork, but also became a vivid testament to international friendship and team spirit. Young creators from different cultural backgrounds came together through art, building bridges of understanding and communication.
